Research Grove is sold through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments and refunds on our behalf and applies this policy.
If you are not satisfied, request a full refund within 14 days of a payment — your first payment or any renewal — and we will approve it. No explanation is required.
Every account starts on the free plan, which holds 50 papers at a time, replaces up to 10 of them each month, and builds a research map from them. You can see exactly what the Service produces for your own library before paying anything. We recommend using it first.
Refunds return to the original payment method. Paddle typically settles them within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Cancel at any time from your account or through the link in any Paddle receipt. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and that remaining period is not pro-rated.
Beyond the 14-day window we still review refunds case by case. If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend, or for a period during which the Service was unavailable to you, contact us below.
A refund or cancellation never deletes your work by itself. Individual includes the product Markdown export. Account deletion and a legally required data access request remain available on every plan and are separate from billing.

This policy is in addition to any right of withdrawal you have under the consumer law of your country, including the EU/UK right to cancel a distance contract. It does not limit those rights.
